Computer Problems
The
following is only to be used for logging faults with the system and
not for solving computer problems.
Please log all
faults using the helpdesk system. The system allows us to track all
faults and also helps the technical administration to back-track faults thus
helping to deal with similar problems experienced by other Members.
Such a central database is important in helping to service the large number
of Members with their differing operating systems, hardware and software. It
is also a very useful record as it is stored in a central data file so that
all the help desk volunteers can access the data and use it is a source of
information in fixing problems.
LOG NEW TICKET
If you are a new member select 'New Member Request' under 'Department'
in the drop down menu. If you are reporting a fault please select 'Support'.
All other queries should be listed as 'Request for Information'.
VIEW EXISTING TICKET
View any existing tickets you have logged here.
USER MANAGER
View user settings.
CHANGE PASSWORD
Changing your password on a regular basis protects you from being
compromised. (Note: This is for email only - we currently do no offer the
facility to change the web login password).
