Austwick Church of England VA Primary
School has a very
active PTA that regularly organises fundraising events and social
occasions.
Part of the Latest ICT Facilities for which the PTA has given so much
support to keep the equipment up to the latest standards.
Our PTA is there to help support the school
and has been very active in providing useful equipment
needed by the children for a better learning environment
and also to aid the teachers in giving them the tools to perform
their task.
Our new Nursery School was opened
in September 2006
our PTA helped in raising
funds towards the construction costs
Our PTA had a very successful
year last year, so to keep up the momentum with our fundraising,
a new committee has now taken over.
Our current calendar of events
is to include;
-
Christmas cake and
calendar sales
-
Non uniform days (at the
end of each term)
-
A book fair/coffee morning
incorporating cake stall and raffle
Funds raised will contribute
to school excursions and the Year 5 trip to Humphrey Head,
amongst other things.
All parents are welcomed to
the PTA and help is always required as time is given freely to
support the work of the school.
